RYA (RYIJY) BACKING
I have woven many meters of rya rug cloth over the years. I stopped weaving for awhile (due to health reasons and life changes..).
I am now in the process of returning to live in Canada, and will be setting up my rug looms. I plan to weave rya rug backings again.
I currently have a few rya backings left in stock and I will be posting them for sale in my WebShop.

When I weave the rya rug backings I use a variety of wool and linen yarns depending on what is available at the time. So one batch or rya rug backings may not be exactly the same as the next one. Each rug backing cloth will give the size, width and length of the backing, the ends per inch, number of knots per row, The width may vary in each batch – sometimes narrow warps, sometimes longer ones, depending on the yarns that are in stock.
