DIY RAINBOW RYA Rug Kit – No. 1

The rya backing cloth has a linen warp and is handwoven using natural organic wool yarns.

The rya rug yarns are all locally sourced pure organic wool. The yarns are all hand dyed using natural plant dyes. I hand dye all of my yarns in small batches.

The colours in each kit vary, as the kits are assembled using the yarns that have been dyed recently and are in stock so may not be the exact shade of colours shown. Each RAINBOW RYA Kit is unique.

Please feel free to mix and combine different yarns within each knot to create different shades of colour and texture within the rya rug.

The Rya kit includes a handmade Rya ruler and a large eye needle.
The Paivatar Rya Rug kit is packaged in a nylon mesh bag that can be re-used.
Please note that the rya rug backing is quite soft and is not designed to be used on the floor.
The ends of the Rya backing have been hemmed. If you would like to use this rya as a cushion cover, the hem stitching can be removed. The backing has been zig-zag stitched to secure the ends.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders sometimes require additional taxes to be paid. I do not have the infrastructure to collect these taxes and submit them to your government, so please be aware that you may be charged taxes or duties on receiving the goods by post office or courier.
