The rya backing cloth is handwoven using natural organic wool and linen yarns.
The rya rug yarns are all locally sourced pure organic wool.

The rya yarns are of varying weights (4 ply or sock weight, Sport weight. DK weight).
Suggested No. of strands per knot = 3
The Rya kit includes a handmade Rya ruler and a large eye needle.
The Paivatar Rya Rug kit is packaged in a nylon mesh bag that can be re-used.

The rya rug yarns are all locally sourced pure organic wool.

Please feel free to mix and combine different yarns within each knot to create different shades of colour and texture within the rya rug.
The Rya kit includes a handmade Rya ruler and a large eye needle.
The Paivatar Rya Rug kit is packaged in a nylon mesh bag that can be re-used.
Please note that the rya rug backing is quite soft and is not designed to be used on the floor.
The ends of the Rya backing have been hemmed. If you would like to use this rya as a cushion cover, the hem stitching can be removed. The backing has been zig-zag stichted to secure the ends.
