I only use plant based natural dyes now.

THIS ACID DYE WORKSHOP IS NOT BEING OFFERED AT THIS TIME.
Learn how to create your own unique colour palette using 3 prime colours. You will learn how to use acid based dyes and how to mix colours to get the shade that you want. In this workshop we will work with the 3 prime colours, Magenta, Yellow and Cyan, to create 50 new shades of colour.
This workshop is designed for the beginner dyer. The dyes that we use are suitable for wool, silk and other protein fibres. If you wish to dye cotton or linen yarns, these require a different type of dye such as Procion MX and this workshop would not be suitable for you.
You will dye approximately 200 grams of wool yarn that can be used for knitting, crochet, tapestry weaving or other craft projects.

50 Shades of Colour Dye Workshop:2016

Course Length: 4 hours
Time: 10 am to 2 pm
Coffee, tea and refreshments will be provided. Please bring along a packed lunch.

Course Fee: £60
Materials Fee: £15
Total Cost: £75
2 persons: £130

It generally takes about 4 hours to dye all of the colours, but this time can vary depending on the dye baths.

A £10.00 non-refundable deposit will be required on booking. Please contact me for further information or if you would like to register for a course.
The Materials fee covers the cost of the yarns and dyes required for the workshop.
