Learn how to create your own unique colour palette using 3 prime colours. You will learn how to use environmentally friendly acid based dyes and how to mix colours to get the shade that you want. In this workshop we will work with the 3 prime colours, Magenta, Yellow and Cyan, to create 50 new shades of colour.
This workshop is designed for the beginner dyer. The dyes that we use are suitable for wool, silk and other protein fibres. If you wish to dye cotton or linen yarns, these require a different type of dye such as Procion MX and this workshop would not be suitable for you.
You will dye approximately 200 grams of wool yarn that can be used for knitting, crochet, tapestry weaving or other craft projects.
