These felted booties are made in the Finnish tradition of feltmaking. They are handfelted using pure soft merino wool.
Felted Baby Booties
Wool is known for its properties of keeping you warm even when wet so they are perfect for those cold winter evenings. The wool slippers will mold to fit your feet perfectly.
You don’t have to, but to get a perfect fit, it is recommended that when you first get them, soak the slippers in warm water and squeeze out the excess water by wrapping them up in a towel. Then put them on your feet and allow them to dry.
The slippers can be handwashed in warm water and left to dry. Again, put them onto your feet while they are still damp for a perfect fit.
These handmade felt slippers come in a choise of colours and can be made to order to fit your foot through my yarnshop on Etsy and Folksy. Because the slippers are made by hand it can take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete your order.
